Profiles in Citizen Journalism: Citizen Kate

You might have noticed: How and where we get our news is changing. We here at The UpTake believe citizen journalists are an important of that change, so we’re starting a new series profiling the innovators. We kickoff this series with Chicago’s intrepid Citizen Kate. She’s been hot on the campaign trail since Obama announced his run for the presidency, charming her way into interviews with senators and presidential advisors – and sometimes, getting kicked out.

She’s all about peace, hugs, and juicy couture.

We’re excited to be working with Citizen Kate in the upcoming Indiana primary. You can watch Kate’s full interview below.
