Minneapolis will be using Instant Runoff Voting in its next general election. We talk with the head of Fair Vote Minnesota Jeanne Massey which has been championing the use of IRV. She ends up debating the issue with Brad of Bradblog.com. In the second half hour we talk with Hamline Law Professor David Schultz who is helping write a law that could seat Al Franken as US Senator while the election contest drags on in court. Schultz says the court challenge and appeals could go on for five months.
