You may have heard that “Obamacare” will euthanize Grandma and force you to lose your medicare coverage. You may have heard that veterans will lose coverage and small businesses will suffer.

These videos from the White House cite chapter and verse of the the health care plan to dispel the lies being used by “teabaggers” and other small vocal groups to instill fear in Americans.

 

Health Care Reform Will Stop Rationing, Not Increase It Kavita Patel, who works with Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett and who worked for years before as a physician, debunks the myth that reform will mean a “government takeover” of health care or lead to “rationing.” To the contrary, reform will forbid many forms of rationing that are currently being used by insurance companies.

 

The Truth About Granny Euthanasia- It’s A Living Will Melody Barnes, the President’s Director of the Domestic Policy Council, debunks the malicious myth that reform would encourage or even require euthanasia for seniors.

 

Combating The Lies About Vets Health CareMatt Flavin, Director of Veterans and Wounded Warrior Policy, explains that nothing in health insurance reform will affect veterans’ access to the care they get now.
