G77 negotiator reacts to Danish text leak

Bernaditas de Castro Muller, a well-known negotiator for the group of 132 developing countries known as G77 plus China, talks with The Nation’s Naomi Klein about the recent “Danish text leak.” The document would “hand more power to rich nations, sideline the UN’s negotiating role and abandon the Kyoto protocol” according to The Guardian, who published the leaked text. Muller says: “I am quite concerned that they should find it expedient for their purposes to do a text in the first place.” Muller calls for an open, transparent, inclusive process.
