Republicans Block Health Care For Poor In Minnesota – Full debate video

Last month Republicans in the Minnesota House overwhelmingly supported a bill to fund General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC) a program that provides health care to the poorest of Minnesota’s poor. All of the Republicans who voted for GAMC last month voted against it today. The had been no changes in the bill. It would cost less than what will happen without its passage and it covers more people. So why didn’t Republicans vote for the bill this time? Because Governor Tim Pawlenty (also a Republican) had vetoed it. This is a video of the entire debate.
