DFL’s Offer To Governor Pawlenty To End Session

Minnesota House Majority Leader Tony Sertich talks about the offer the DFL House and Senate has made to Governor Tim Pawlenty. It allows the Governor or the next Governor to “opt out” of federal medicaid requirements.

Here are the six points of the DFL offer:

A second bill would authorize the governor and next governor to apply or not apply for early enrollment.

This authority would expire Jan 15 2011

The second bill must address the interim GAMC issue.

The Governor would sign HF3834 and the second bill.

No Special session.

Balanced budget with the $498 Million
