Minnesota Apologizing To The Mentally Disabled


People with mental disabilities no longer are institutionalized, as they were only a few decades ago. After a thirteen-year effort, Minnesota Sen. John Marty, DFL-Roseville, successfully passed a resolution issuing an apology to those who experienced the trauma of living in the state-supported facilities.
