We won’t be airing tonight’s Minnesota governor debates on education live, but you can watch them on Twin Cities Public Television, and follow our live blog or blog along with us. Later on, we’ll air a rebroadcast of tonight’s showdown between Mark Dayton, Tom Emmer and Tom Horner. The UpTake will also have a camera at tonight’s Tea Party forum in Rochester, Minnesota. Check back later on for coverage.

Today on The UpTake you can watch TakeAction Minnesota bid adieu to health insurer abuses as they celebrate the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Speaking of health care reform, catch President Obama at a backyard gathering in Falls Church, Va., talking about the provisions of the health care bill that went into effect today. We’ve also got a video of Mark Dayton releasing his K-12 education plan yesterday.

And if you’re into schadenfreude, check out this video taken from the police car of Republican state Rep. Mark Buesgens being arrested for drunk driving on Saturday night. The arresting deputy also recovered an open bottle of vodka on the floor of the drivers’ seat. Buesgens worked for Tom Emmer’s campaign until recently, and stumped for the gubernatorial candidate at a Tea Party rally in March.
