Dems Talk Transportation Solutions, GOP Skips Forum By Michael McIntee | October 21, 2010 LikeTweet EmailPrint More More on Minnesota Subscribe to Minnesota Follow this author Republican candidates for the legislature in the Burnsville, Eagan and Apple Valley area were noticibly absent during a discussion of transportation issues along the I-35 corridor. The forum put on by the I-35W Solutions Alliance invited legislative candidates from both the DFL and Republican parties to talk about transportation issues. Attending were Senator Jim Carlson (DFL-District 38), Representative Sandra Masin (DFL-District 38A), Representative Mike Obermueller (DFL-District 38B), Mike Germain (DFL) candidate for Senate district 37 and Derrick Lindstrom (DFL) candidate for House district 37A. An earlier forum focused on legislative candidates from the Farmington-Lakeville area was attended by Republicans and Democrats. We’ll be posting that here soon.
