On September 24, 2010, the FBI raided five Minneapolis homes of peace activists and the handed out nine subpoenas for a Chicago Grand jury. The targets were suspected of providing material aid to foreign terrorist organizations. The charges would be ludicrous except under current circumstances they are deadly serious and dangerous. In addition to the confiscated computers, phones, bank records the agents scooped up a knitting pattern, several T-shirts, scarves plus the private papers of a recently deceased grandfather of one of the targets.
