Minnesota Break the Bonds is an organization dedicated to disinvesting in Israel Bonds until Israel obeys international law and stops the apartheid against the Palestinians. It’s part of a larger effort named BDS – Boycott, Divest and Sanction. The state of Minnesota holds $18.4 million in Israel bonds, less than 1% of total state investments. This disinvestment is seen as a token move and a beginning of further pressure. Support this story and all the stories from The Uptake. Donate.
