St. Paul, MN, January 4, 2111.
For the 18th consecutive year the Welfare Rights Committee demonstrated at the Minnesota State Capitol on the opening day for the legislature. They founded The Minnesota Coalition for People’s Bailout that includes a number social issue activist groups. It was a bright, brisk, four degree Fahrenheit day. Students from The Student Association for the Advancement of Children as People added the eloquence only a child can deliver.
After the speeches, the marched into the capitol rotunda and up the marble stairs by both legislative chambers as the legislature formed for this session.
