In Duluth, Gov. Dayton Seeks to Avoid “Barbaric” Cuts

While on a statewide tour the day after unveiling his proposed budget, Governor Mark Dayton held a news conference at the Duluth airport and expressed his desire to avoid the most devastating “barbaric” cuts in the budget, taxes where they could be afforded and support local government. Dayton was asked about the costs of perpetual treatment of toxic waste from mines.
