Wisconsin may be more than a thousand miles away, but for at least one day the people of Boise, Idaho felt very close to the cheese state.
Several hundred people, many who said they never attend rallies, stood in the cold weather to show their solidarity with Wisconsin workers who are having their collective bargaining rights threatened by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.  The rally was peaceful.
About 20 counter-protesters also showed up, waiving signs about communism and morality.
