The UpTake’s Oliver Dykstra interviewed Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz on Friday, during which he asked the Mayor about how much money the demonstrations have cost Madison, what effects Gov. Scott Walker’s union-busting “budget repair bill” would have on the city, Cieslewicz’s thoughts on the David Koch prank phone call and allegations that Walker considered planting agent provocateurs among the demonstrators. Cieslewicz, who has been mayor of Madison for eight years, said that he’s proud of his city, which has “shown the whole world how to peacefully protest.”
