Dave Kreisman took these powerful photos for on Tuesday during Governor Scott Walker’s unveiling of his budget proposal inside the chamber of the Wisconsin State Capitol. While Republicans stood and clapped, Democrats (minus the 14 Senators who have fled to Illinois to prevent a quorum) sat in gloom. Demonstrators have been barred from entering the Capitol this week, but lobbyists and parties friendly to Gov. Walker were allegedly led into the Capitol through an underground tunnel.
