Patients Could Be At Risk Without Collective Bargaining

Bonnie- Occupational Therapist at Madison, WI Workers' Rights Rally

Bonnie has been around the health care industry long enough to remember the “bad old days” before union rules required enough staffing so patients would be turned to prevent bed sores. She says if workers were to lose the right to collectively bargain as Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has proposed, patients would be at risk. Bonnie is an Occupational Therapist who is a member of the SEIU. She says her family was Republican, but this is not the Republican party she group up knowing. These are people “run amuck” with power.
