Dayton, DFL Leaders Launch Statewide Budget Tour

Governor Mark Dayton Tours State To Sell Budget Message

Governor Mark Dayton, Senator Tom Bakk and Representative Paul Thissen travel around the state to talk about the state budget, and emphasize their belief that Republicans must compromise with them to find a solution that will protect Minnesota families and businesses. The DFL party alleges that the Republican budget proposal would have serious impacts on cities across Minnesota, including millions in cuts to Local Government Aid, schools, colleges and universities, and health care delivery. Dayton, Bakk and Thissen hold a media availability at Saint Paul’s Holman Field before flying to Austin, Mankato, Glydon and Duluth.
