Congressman Keith Ellison held a community forum at Sabes Jewish Community Center in St. Louis Park on Aug. 6 to educate and rally over 200 attendees in opposition to the proposed constitutional amendment on this November’s ballot in Minnesota that would require photo ID to vote and the creation of a provisional balloting system. Ellison and four other panelists including State Rep. Steve Simon, Dr. Josie Johnson, Mai Thor and Alex Erickson warned about the dangerous consequences of this legislation and explained how they can take action to defeat it.
