Flags and vows that Americans would "Never Forget" the terror attacks of 9-11-2001 were on display on Sept. 11, 2006 during a football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Washington, D.C. football team. Today is the 12th anniversary of the attacks, which killed almost 3,000 people and set the country on the path to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. More than 6,700 Americans have died in those conflicts.
