The Theater Of Public PolicyThe Theater Of Public Policy

The Theater Of Public Policy performs at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2) brought its one-of-a-kind mix of wonk and comedy to the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. T2P2 uses improv comedy to unpack and reimagine policy and politics. The Star Tribune describes it as “C-SPAN being suddenly swarmed by the cast of SNL”.

State Representatives Nick Zerwas (R-Forest Lake) and Dan Schoen (DFL-Cottage Grove) joined T2P2 for a 2015 legislative update—straight from the Donkey and the Elephant’s mouths. Show Host and current Humphrey School Student Tane Danger interviewed Zerwas and Schoen about the current legislative session, politics in Minnesota more generally, and where lawmakers go to the bathroom now that the capital is under construction.

The cast will then brought the whole conversation to life through entirely unscripted improv comedy.

This event is co-sponsored by the Theater of Public Policy and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
