For 100 years a tunnel of love ride called “Ye Old Mill” has been operating at the Minnesota State Fair. It’s still operated by the great-grandson of the original owner John Keenan who built it when his Vaudeville live theater business started declining because of the rise of movies.

To mark the century of operation, the State of Minnesota, the City of St. Paul and the city of Minneapolis all proclaimed Thursday “Ye Old Mill Day”. On hand to congratulate the family owners were Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges.
