Stop PolyMet Rally – Video Replay

Video replay of the #StopPolymet rally. Group such as MPIRG, Friends of the Boundary Waters, Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, WaterLegacy, Sierra Club North Star Chapter, Friends of the Cloquet Valley State Forest, and Save Our Sky Blue Waters are opposed to PolyMet’s proposed sulfide mine in northern Minnesota.

The groups rallied at Weida Park in St. Paul and then walked to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Headquarters.

The DNR is the state agency in charge of environmental review and permit decisions for the PolyMet sulfide mine proposal. They are currently reviewing internal drafts of the final mine plan for the PolyMet proposal, and plan to release the final mine plan in November.
