Video Replay: MN GOP CD2 Endorsing Convention

Republican activists gathered on Saturday May 7 to endorse a congressional candidate to run in Minnesota’s second congressional district. These videos show all the speeches and debate at the convention.

Delegates to Minnesota’s second congressional district endorsed Jason Lewis Saturday after seven ballots.

Lewis beat out John Howe, David Gerson, Darlene Miller and Gene Rechtzigel for the endorsement.

Miller has already said she plans to run in the August primary. She has the backing of Kline. Howe has left open the question of running in the primary.

The winner would face DFL-endorsed candidate Angie Craig in the November election
