Participating were former Minneapolis NAACP President Nekima Levy-Pounds, State Representative Raymond Dehn, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges, filmmaker Aswar Rahman, City Council Member Jacob Frey, community activist Al Flowers and former Hennepin Theater Trust President Tom Hoch. They answered several rounds of questions before a crowd of about 200 people at the Jigjiga Business Center. Additional candidates Two additional candidates for mayor—Captain Jack Sparrow and Bob “Again” Carney Jr.—were given a few minutes to address the crowd at the end of the debate.
