Gov. Dayton Vetoes GOP Budget Bill

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton vetoes a Republican backed budget bill for three reasons.
1) It would raise property taxes, which is a regressive tax that impacts the poor and middle class most
2) It would be unconstitutional because it gives the Governor too much power to cut. That’s a power that belongs to the legislature.
3) It is a “piecemeal” approach
