La Asamblea de Derechos Civiles (the Civil Rights Assembly), hosted a gubernatorial debate on immigration — specifically undocumented immigration — at Sagrado Corazon at 98th and Pleasant in south Minneapolis. The debate was facilitated in both Spanish and English. Independence Party candidate Tom Horner and Ken Pentel of the Ecology Democracy Party took part; Democrat Mark Dayton sent State Senator Patricia Torres Ray on his behalf, and Republican Tom Emmer didn’t show at all.
