The debate was facilitated in both Spanish and English. Independence Party candidate Tom Horner and Ken Pentel of the Ecology Democracy Party took part; Democrat Mark Dayton sent State Senator Patricia Torres Ray on his behalf, and Republican Tom Emmer didn’t show at all.
