Independence Party candidate Tom Horner appeared solo at a noon forum at the Humphrey Institute, sponsored by the University of Minnesota’s Center for the Study of Politics and Governance. DFL’er Mark Dayton and GOP candidate Tom Emmer appeared last week.
Tom Horner spoke on a broad range of Education Reforms, wanting to “redefine the questions” we ask about education. He looked for solutions in the internet, non traditional teachers, and some tenure modifications. Then he sat down with Institute Professor Larry Jacobs and took questions from him and the audience.
