Absentee Balloting the Highest in Two Decades of MN Primaries

From the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office:
“Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie said absentee balloting in the 2010 primary is the highest in two decades. His office reported that election officials have accepted 26,211 absentee ballots as of 9:45 a.m. this morning. High Number Of Absentee Ballots Being Cast In MN Primary

Press release from Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie:

ST. PAUL, Minn.-Aug. 6, 2010-Secretary of State Mark Ritchie said today that the number of absentee ballots successfully cast statewide for the upcoming Aug. 10 primary has eclipsed 2002 and 2006 state primary totals.
