September 17, 2010. Minneapolis joined 17 other cities in the nation that are rallying in support of Pfc Bradley Manning. Manning is the now famous intelligence analyst who released a videotape from July 12, 2007, of American helicopters shooting Iraqi civilians, Reuters journalists and the father of two children also wounded in the action.

The tape was published by WikiLeaks and is now online at Manning has been charged by the military with releasing government secrets. Some are agitating for a charge of treason, which carries the death penalty,
