Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will be in town to raise dough for Emmer, and current Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty will also be on hand for an 11 a.m. “round table” discussion. Tom Rukavina’s (Democratic-Farm-Labor) simultaneous press conference, where he’ll discuss job-creation measures and Emmer’s record. Tune in later today for replays of Vice President Joe Biden’s stump speech for Mark Dayton, and the Early Childhood Alliance’s Minnesota governor forum, which Dayton and Independent Tom Horner attended (and not Emmer). Interestingly, both of those events were held yesterday at Macalester College in St. Paul. Take Action Minnesota also held a press conference yesterday, which it used to attack Horner and accuse him of coddling to corporate interests.= Support this story and all the stories from The Uptake.
