National Federation of Small Businesses Endorses Emmer

Minnesota Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer was endorsed today by the state’s chapter of the National Federation of Small Businesses (NFIB) at a press conference at the State Capitol. Here’s what Emmer said in a press release about the endorsement:

“This election is about one thing, creating jobs for Minnesotans. The only way to create jobs is to liberate job creators. Higher taxes kill jobs. More government debt kills jobs. More red tape kills jobs. Out of control government spending kills jobs. NFIB knows this, and I am proud to receive their endorsement.”

“NFIB represents small businesses. Those job creators who have been hurt most by this job-killing recession. My opponents keep promising that government can fix the economy by raising taxes, growing government spending and increasing regulations. They say that there is nothing wrong with our economy that bigger government and higher taxes can’t fix. But NFIB knows better, they know that the best way to get our economy growing is for government to live within its means and reduce burdensome regulations allowing our entrepreneurs to do what they do best, create jobs.”
