MN Senate Committees Hear Threats of Polymet Mining

At Hibbing Community College in Minnesota’s Iron Range on Friday, Warner Wirta and Bob Tammen testified before hearings held by the Minnesota Senate’s Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Budget and Policy and Jobs and Economic Growth Budget and Policy. Wirta and Tammen both pointed out the threats of pollution posed by the mining company Polymet. The committees are chaired, respectively, by Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen (R-Alexandria) and Sen. Geoff Michel, (R-Edina). Listen to other comments below:
