Lena Taylor, one of the “Wisconsin 14” Democratic Senators who returned to Madison this past weekend after spending three weeks in Illinois to avoid giving the Republicans a quorum, spoke to The UpTake’s Tracey Pollock about the illegal maneuvers of her Republican colleagues and her overall reaction to the controversial budget repair bill. Taylor also discussed her run against now Governor Scott Walker for county executive of Milwaukee County, saying that he mismanaged affairs so badly that the state had to step in and take over social services.
