Governor Mark Dayton holds a ceremony to sign HF 79/SF 47 into law. This legislation will provide $13 million in state tax reductions for college students and their parents, teachers, businesses and other tax payers by adopting most federal tax law changes made for the 2010 tax year. The Legislation also takes action, as the Governor urged in a letter in late February, to stop the delay of tax refund payments to Minnesota businesses. He will be joined at the bill signing ceremony by Senator Julianne Ortman, Senator John Marty, Representative Greg Davids and Representative Paul Marquart.
