US Attorney General Holder Addresses Blueprint for Action Conference

Minneapolis, MN, May 27, 2011. US Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. was the keynote speaker at the Blueprint for Action Conference, a gathering of civic leaders dedicated to preventing youth violence in Minneapolis. The conference met at the University of Minnesota, McNamara Alumni Center on the campus. The three hosting Emcees were Mayor R.T. Rybak, Montrell Donaldson and Amina Mohammed. An ongoing program in Minneapolis, January, 2011 marked the three year anniversary of the project. There has been a marked decrease in homicides juveniles involved in violent crimes, school crimes and an increase in supported high school graduates entering college.

Bill Sorem is a longtime advertising professional who started with Campbell Mithun and ended up with his own agency. After a tour as a sailing fleet manager in the Virgin Islands he turned to database programming as an independent consultant.
