Vikings officials defended the stadium plan saying it would be a public, not a private facility, but couldn’t answer questions about how much the team would make from the stadium. Author of the plan, Representative Morrie Lanning (R-Moorhead) said this proposal is the best the state has had during his time at the legislature.
