Minnesota Republicans call it a “worker freedom”. Unions call it a “right to work for less”. That language may give you an idea of how divisive a fight there might be over a proposed constitutional amendment offered by Minnesota Republicans this morning.

When asked if the proposed constitutional amendment would weaken unions, Representative Steve Drazkowski said “no comment.” Senator Dave Thompson claims the amendment would not prevent collective bargaining. House Assistant Minority Leader Erin Murphy took issue with that assertion, tweeting it would “gut” collective bargaining.
