Thousands of people crowded the steps of the St. Paul Cathedral as Philando Castile’s casket was carried out of the church and onto a waiting horse drawn carriage.

“United for Philando” chanted the crowd.

Police killed Castile during a traffic stop last week, prompting a wave of protests across the country.
