Video Replay- Rep. Jim Knoblach And Zach Dorholt Final Formal Debate Before Election

By: Michael McIntee, UpTake Reporter

In 2014 Jim Knoblach (R) won election to the Minnesota House over Zach Dorholt (D) by a very small number of votes in a race that attracted a record amount of outside money. This election looks to be as tight and expensive. The two same candidates debated on Tuesday as part of a St. Cloud area legislative candidate forum held at a St. Cloud Rotary Club event and organized by the St. Cloud Area of Commerce and the rotary. Four other candidates participated in the forum — the two candidates for House District 14A Rep. Tama Theis (R) and Aric Putnam (DFL) as well as two of the candidates running for Senate District 14 Dan Wolgamott (DFL) and Jerry Relph (R). The libertarian candidate for Senate, Steven Zilberg, was invited, but did not attend.

Above is the video replay of the event and post-debate interviews with Rep. Jim Knoblach and Zach Dorholt.

The two candidates have several informal forums they will be attending before the November election, but this is the last formal debate they have scheduled.
